Runs on our own platform, not in front of it
A voicebot that answers the phone.
No phone menu and no “say in one word what you’re calling about”. A conversation: the caller says what they want, the bot looks it up, books it and confirms it. And if it can’t help, it hands over to a colleague — without the caller having to start again.
I wanted to ask whether the house on Leinster Road in Rathmines is still available to view.
It is. There's a slot on Thursday at 5:30pm, or Saturday morning.
checks the viewings diary
Thursday's fine.
Booked. You'll get a confirmation by text.
puts the viewing in the diary and sends the text
Three things a phone menu can't do
It checks your systems as it goes
During the call, not after it. Is that house still available, is that order ready, is this customer known — it looks it up while the caller is on the line.
It creates the follow-up
The appointment is in the diary before the caller has hung up. A phone menu can only put the call through; the bot does the job itself.
It hands over with the conversation
If it can’t help, the call goes to a person — including what has already been said. The caller doesn’t have to start again.
Most voicebots sit in front of your phone system. This one sits inside it.
A standalone voicebot takes the call first and then passes it on — a second connection, with everything that can go wrong there. With us, the bot is a destination in the same routing, next to a queue and a phone menu. Transferring to a person happens within the same call.
The bot sits in front of your phone system. It answers, and then has to set up a new connection itself to reach your team.
The bot is a destination in the call flow, just like an extension. Opening hours, overflow and recording apply to it in the same way.
You describe the call, we build the bot
You don't configure anything or draw any flows. You explain what happens on the phone, the way you would explain it to a new colleague. It is usually on your line within two working days.
You tell us what happens
Which questions come in, what the right answer is, and when a person needs to step in. One half-hour conversation is usually enough.
We build it and let you hear it
You get a number to call and hear it for yourself. Whatever isn’t right we adjust — that is usually a matter of wording, not technology.
It goes on your line
As a destination in your routing: all the time, only outside office hours, or only when nobody picks up. You decide when it is on duty.
Two working days applies to a bot that works with your own wording. If it needs access to your diary or your customer system, it depends on how quickly that integration can be made — we tell you in the first conversation, not afterwards.
Call one of our demo lines
Three voicebots we built for an estate agency, a plumbing firm and a takeaway. You simply call them, with no form or sign-up first.
Books viewings, catches sellers
Filters on type, area and price, offers real slots from the diary, and sends anyone asking about a valuation straight to an agent — that call is worth too much to queue.
“Tuesday at ten, or would half past six suit you better?” Call Eva +44 20 3695 1999Triages the emergency first
Sorts a leak that cannot wait from a boiler service, books routine jobs into morning or afternoon slots, and flags an address outside the working area before anyone is promised a visit.
“Is water coming through the ceiling right now?” Call Sander +44 161 568 3665Takes the order during the rush
Handles the whole menu including sauces and extras, reads the total back in plain money, and puts the ticket on the kitchen screen before the caller has hung up.
“That comes to fourteen pounds eighty. Ready at twenty past six.” Call Daan +44 333 057 6595What a voicebot is not for
A voicebot is strong at the call that starts the same way every time. For everything else there should be a person on the line, and the way to them should be short.
Good for
Calls with a fixed shape: making or moving an appointment, asking whether something is still available, placing an order, reporting a fault or checking the status of an order.
There is no judgement in those, only details that need to reach the right person quickly.
Not for
Angry, upset or panicking callers belong with a person. So does the call that needs judgement, such as a complaint, a negotiation or bad news.
There the bot should have a short route to your team, not an attempt to sort it out itself.
For banks, insurers and other regulated sectors
Where the requirements for data protection and compliance are strictest, we move the line of what we do. There are two forms, and in neither of them does your own team have to build anything.
Only the voice path
You already have your own AI model. We supply the telephony around it: the phone number, the audio, the routing and the transfer to an agent. Your model, our line.
The AI plus a private link
We build the voicebot, but the connection to your data runs over a private link instead of the public internet.
In both cases only one boundary moves: in the first it is the model’s, in the second the network’s. Only a provider that owns the telephony can supply a voice path, and we do.
AI voicebot FAQ
Clear answers about AI voicebots and how they work for your business.
No. Our platform uses the latest advances in natural language processing and voice synthesis. The AI speaks with human-like intonation, understands interruptions and reacts naturally, which gives the caller a comfortable and realistic experience.
Certainly. You set specific rules for the bot. For example, it can handle frequently asked questions, collecting details and scheduling itself, while putting complex technical support questions or valuable sales calls straight through to your team.
You don’t need to switch providers. You forward your existing numbers to our platform, or we connect via SIP trunking, depending on what suits your current phone setup best. The bot is then a destination in our routing. Transfers within the same call, and the same opening hours and recording as the rest of your phone system, apply in full once your phone system runs with us too. We go through what that means for your situation in the first conversation.
