The number you need depends on who has to call.

A customer in Cork would rather call a 021 number. A customer in Munich would rather call a German number. And anyone who should be able to reach you for free needs a 1800. Start with where your callers are.

In Ireland

An Irish number

Local with your city's area code, national with 0818, or free with 1800. Three kinds, and the choice is mostly about who pays for the call and what the number signals.

A number in another country

49 countries, from Germany to Singapore. What differs per country is the paperwork — the address requirement above all. What is the same everywhere: the call comes in where you want it.

Three kinds, and the difference is who pays

The technology behind them is the same for all three. What differs is what the caller sees, what it costs them, and whether you need to be based somewhere.

Choose the country where your customers are

49 countries, all on the same platform and in the same dashboard. What differs per country is the paperwork: sometimes your business must be established there, sometimes in that specific city, and sometimes there is no requirement at all.

The address requirement is the only thing you need to know beforehand. It differs per country and per type of number, and it is shown next to every number in the number shop — before you order, not after.
Why us

Two things a provider without its own platform cannot offer

How the call travels

Over the telephone network, not the cheapest internet route

A call delivered over the internet depends on a connection that is good enough at that moment. A call to a landline or mobile does not: the network makes the phone ring, and that is the whole chain. Across the border too, your caller then hears the quality of a domestic call.

Who makes the change

We are the provider, so we change it ourselves

With a provider without its own platform your request goes through their platform provider and back — five links before anything changes. We run our own intelligent IVR platform, in each of the 15 countries where we are licensed. An urgent change is something we do, not something we request.

What a number costs

An Irish number comes in the plans: €149 a year for one person, €25 a month for two, €49 a month for up to eight. A number in another country is €49 a month, the same in every country, including the full phone system — with an entry rate of €250 a year if you expect little traffic. A 1800 Freephone number is €49 a month too.

You only pay for the telephone network. A call that comes in over the internet on your softphone or desk phone is free; delivered to a landline or mobile it costs 10c a minute, billed per second. You choose which route a call takes, so your bill is under your control. On a 1800 you pay those minutes instead of the caller, and on a number abroad the minute rate depends on the country; both on request.

Find clear answers about virtual phone numbers and the advantages for your business.

A virtual phone number is a telephone number that is not tied to a physical line or a SIM card. Instead, you have many different options for how to route calls. This means you can use the number to forward to one or multiple existing mobile or fixed phones and route calls over the internet. It gives you the most flexible way to set up a modern business phone system.

No, we can forward calls to any existing and/or new phones or softphones on your computer or mobile device. So instead of investing into new equipment, you can just start receiving calls today!

Absolutely, if in your country the local phone company is stopping analog and ISDN lines and you want to keep your phone number, make it a virtual phone number! We can port any existing numbers within (most of the time) 5 working days.

Virtual phone numbers can be configured with many options, like voicemail or we forward your call to another person if you do not answer within x seconds. Talk to our support team how you want your phone number to handle calls and we will handle the programming for you!

Absolutely not. We handle the entire setup for you based on your specific needs. However, if you are tech-savvy, we offer full flexibility: we can provide a Docker container running our IVR system, open up our API, or set up webhooks to communicate with your platform exactly how you want.
