Get a Belgian phone number for your business.

Belgian customers call a Belgian number, and that makes a difference to both response and trust. Which number you can have depends on one thing: whether you have an address in Belgium. Below is what is possible either way.

The question that decides everything

Which Belgian number can your business have?

In Belgium the regulator decides which Belgian number you can have. Some numbers need your business to have an address in Belgium; below you can see what is possible for each number.

In stock and what it costs

Numbers available today

What a number abroad costs

€49 per monthper number

The same amount in each of the fourteen countries — a Belgian number costs no more than an Irish one. Including the full phone system: forwarding, IVR menu, call queue, call recording and statistics.

Just testing the market

€250 per yearprepaid

One line, one forwarding number, no features. For anyone who first wants to know whether the phone rings at all before setting up a phone system. That is less than €21 a month — under half the full rate, with exactly one thing that works: the number rings and the call reaches you.

And the call charges

Those depend on where the call goes

A call that arrives in Belgium and goes on to an Irish VoIP line costs a different amount from one to a Belgian mobile. You get that rate with your proposal; it is the one thing we cannot put on the page, because it differs per route.

Why you can get this from us

Licensed, and the platform is ours

What matters behind a foreign number is who handles it when something out of the ordinary is needed: an urgent change, a non-standard routing, a question from the regulator. We are a licensed telecom provider and run our own intelligent IVR platform, so our own team handles it.

  • Belgium

Registered with the Belgian regulator BIPT

    Registration number 3981

Authorised to issue Belgian numbers, in line with Belgian telecoms law. That can be checked, and that is the point.

  • Europe

    Licensed in fifteen countries

We know the rules in each country because, as a licensed provider, we are subject to them ourselves.

  • The platform

One phone system for all your numbers

Your Belgian, Irish and UK numbers come in on the same routing, with the same queue and the same dashboard. No separate accounts per country.

How it works

From request to a ringing phone

  1. You tell us what you need

Which city or which type, and whether you have a Belgian address. If you're not sure, we'll look at it with you.

  2. We check and send a quote

Within one working day you get a proposal with the current rates and an honest answer on whether it can be done. Sometimes the answer is that an 0800 number will serve you better than a local number.

  3. The registration

For local numbers we submit the proof of address to the regulator. That is the only part you have to wait for.

  4. Forwarding to your team

The call arrives in Belgium and lands with your colleagues in Ireland. The caller dials a Belgian number and never notices the difference.

Frequently asked questions

About Belgian phone numbers

We offer three main types: Local numbers (e.g., Brussels 02, Antwerp 03, Bruges 050) for a local presence, 078 national numbers for a nationwide presence without a specific city tie, and 0800 Toll-Free numbers which are free for callers. Both 078 and 0800 numbers are available with a worldwide address.

For local geographic numbers (like 02 for Brussels), the Belgian regulator BIPT requires an address in the area-code zone of the number. For 078 national and 0800 toll-free numbers, a worldwide address is accepted, making them ideal for Irish businesses without a physical presence in Belgium.

Yes. You can configure your Belgian number with a phone menu that lets callers choose their language, then route Flemish-speaking callers to one team and French-speaking callers to another. You can also use our text-to-speech engine to generate welcome messages in both Dutch and French.

An 0800 number allows customers to call you for free from any Belgian landline or mobile network. You, as the number owner, cover the call costs. This removes any cost barrier and is widely used for customer service lines in Belgium. Note that 0800 toll-free numbers can only be dialled from within Belgium — they cannot be called from abroad.

Belgian numbers start with the country code +32. A typical landline number has 9 digits: a 1- or 2-digit area code followed by the subscriber number. When advertising internationally, use the format +32 2 1234567 (dropping the leading ‘0’). Domestically, it would be 02 1234567.

Virtual numbers can typically be set up within 1 business day. Once active, calls are forwarded immediately to your existing Irish landline, mobile, or VoIP system.

The BIPT (Belgian Institute for Postal Services and Telecommunications) is the Belgian authority responsible for telecoms regulation, including the assignment of telephone numbers to registered providers.

Yes, CallFactory is registered with the BIPT under number 3981, authorised to issue Belgian virtual phone numbers in full compliance with Belgian telecoms law.
